Thanks everyone for bearing with us while we were away. We are back safe and sound and ready to carry on with our travel tale.

After the cheetah sighting, we arrived at Rooiputs just after 1 pm and set up camp in campsite no 4
By the time we had finished and showered it was time to go out again.


We decided to go and see if the cheetahs were still around
They weren’t


We turned and set off north to Kij Kij
Everything was quiet as we bumbled up to the waterhole, and after having a sundowners we set off back to camp


About 5km north of Rooiputs Debbie spotted some movement in the grass on the right.
An African Wild Cat hunting.

Eventually it disappeared into the grass and we carried on along our way


Look how well camouflaged it is
