That evening we had a little visitor .
Image

There was also some some big visitors at the Orpen Dam when a large elephant herd arrived but all the pics we got were blurry.

In the morning it was drizzling lightly and cool we packed the car and were about 15 mins late after gate opening .After about 15km on the H7 we found the early leavers from camp all stopped with the same pack as before and a few that arrived from Satara side.

They were restless and had obviously just hunted .
Image

Some of the pups came onto the road and investigated the strange metal animals .
Image

Eventually after about 20 mins we drove past some of the other vehicles as we had a long trip ahead today going to Marloth park and got a quick sighting of the rest of the Pups playing on the side of the road bellow road level .

Image

We stopped and visited the Owl nest on the way and only Junior was around

Image

We carried on towards Satara when SO suddenly called out stop what is that . And there was a Civet walking into the grass the best pic we could get was .Image

Further along at the scene of the crime there was only a huddle of Vultures with nothing of the Buff visible anywhere
Image

We stopped into Satara for some Coffee and to get something for breakfast .

After picking up Coffee and a Pizza from Satara and filling up with Diesel we carried on our trip .By the H6 intersection a car signaled to us and said there was Lions 100m up the road so we did a minor detour and found the "very" energetic Lions lol
Image

We snapped a few pics and carried on our way .Our original plan had been to do some sand roads on this trip as we had done mainly the tar ones the last few days .So as soon as the next road came up the S125 we headed off to do some sand roads down to Tshokwane . Not far along the road we found a mini scrum with cars stopped in the road .We looked to the side oh look a sleeping Lion then it rolled over and we managed to get a quick snap . Image

After spending some time we noticed the other cars were watching a rock or so we thought .Why are they looking at that rock so we got the Binocks out and found the white rock was actually a white Lion flat as Lions tend to be in the day from our experience .That was to change during this trip .But for now we got a pic of a white Rock Lion lol
Image

We believe this was most likely Casper as he had been reported in this area .

At Sweni there was some Giraffe and Zebra .
Image

A glossy starling was on a post
Image

We managed to catch a Squirel that did not flee on our approach
Image

A Giraffe was getting a manicure
Image

We found some Kudu seeking the new shoots in a burnt area .
Image

A young Ellie was being shown how to eat the bushes and the birds were waiting to grab the insects .
Image

After stopping at Tshokwane we carried on to Nkumbe where I found some cell signal and as I needed to do some urgent emails this was the view from my office for 20 minutes
Image

We carried on to Lower Sabie .

Giraffes and zebras together out in the open, makes an unusual coloured impression \O

Squirrel! O/\ O/\

Lovely pic of the starling O\/

From Nkumbe you have a vast view on......nothing, which can be very relaxing and did not distract your concentration from the e-mails ;-) lol
