The vehicle was seen in the same place for over a week.
Elize's comment: When we reported this at Talamati their response was...."O, the car 12km down the road? It's been there for a week". Before that we tried to report it at various camps via cell but the phones just rang. I really fear when there is a real emergency in KNP and you need help urgently.

Re: Vehicle Abandoned in Kruger
The front wheel seems to be buggered?
Weird and unacceptable, even should the owner not have done anything about it for weeks!

Re: Vehicle Abandoned in Kruger
The owner has probably flown back home overseas and left the rental car in the sticks.
Sometimes it’s not until you don’t see what you want to see, that you truly open your eyes.

Re: Vehicle Abandoned in Kruger
Uuuhm, excuse me SanParks, there seems to be an abandoned car in your back yard which you seem to know about. Are we just going to ignore it and hope it rusts away very quickly or do something constructive like tow it to one of the camps and follow up on who it belongs to
Man was placed in charge and given the duty of caring for all creation, are we doing it?

Re: Vehicle Abandoned in Kruger
From today's Lowvelder:

Responding to queries in this regard, Mabasa said that the Park was aware of this and that it was the owner's responsibility to have it removed. According to him the towing service took a number of weeks to do this.
