Suspect that as per the rest of failing infrastructure in SA it is a lack of responsibility that is causing the sliding of the camp conditions also this believe that by outsourcing everything they get better value for money but without anyone being responsible (or held accountable) for the supervising of the contractors and workers nothing happens correctly . -O- . It also Amazes me that every office in Kruger has big framed pictures of Presidents and environmental ministers ,seems the SANPARK mission has become allot more political than natural IMHO ....

This guy was scooting across the Veld close to the Lions
Image

We also found a Saddle Bill close by
Image

Some flowers also
Image

And piggies
Image

We did the S121 loop and found this Hoopoe
Image

and this Giraffe
Image

We drove down to see if the Lions had got anymore active on the S114 and they had got so active that they had vanished lol We also met a couple in a Kombi that were looking all over .We heard there were Lions here they said and we really wanted to see Lions . So we explained there was also some close to Bnd on the S110 and offered to show them where . So we drove back to where the other pride had been earlier .

On the road there this bird was in the road but did not stay when we got closer .
Image

We got back to the Lions and they were still there .A big male had popped up from the grass .
Image

One of the Lionesses repositioned
Image

The rest were all being Lions
Image

We left the happy people in the Kombi watching the Lions .

At Majulu water hole some Ellies were drinking and this was the last sighting we had before heading back to camp for the night

A nice array again, Rog! X#X

And nice of you to play tour guide there! lol

At least you saw a leopard! (tortoise)

I think it is a Wahlberg's eagle on the ground eating termites? -O-

Ja, I remember going to Skukuza one day the day after our current president was inaugurated, and his pic was up!

But to fix a unit takes months! lol

That evening being our last I lit the braai and went to open our last meal .We had made our own chicken kebabs at home something we do quite often . The only problem was when I opened the tin foil it wasn't the kebabs I had picked up it was butternut pieces 0*\ SO managed to rustle up some cheese and biscuits instead for dinner and we watched a local web developer doing his work ...
Image

The following morning we were due to drive home .As had become the norm we took a quick last drive in the morning .We were treated to a stunning Kruger sunrise .
Image

Image

This big Piggie was also waiting for the sun to rise and warm up
Image

Some Hyenas were still coming back from a late night out .
Image

Image

They had a quick cooling down in the little pond
Image

At Gardenia hide we found a few birds
Image

A frog (not that you could see it )
Image

and a Pair of Batleurs
Image

Some more flowers for Lisbeth O0
Image

and then the dreaded view of leaving the Kruger
Image

A nice last morning, plus some grand rhino sightings! O\/ O\/ O\/

That is one of the last areas in Kruger where sightings are possible, I fear! :-(

I like the bateleurs, sunrise, web and hyena too! [O]

Thanks for this installment, and ready for more! :ty: <dop>
