Thanks, Flutts! I love both of the seasons. Each got something special.
And after our week with fantastic weather I'm already looking forward to the winter trip. O\/

Interesting! \O

If there weren't those "baskets"...could the beach be termed "topless"? -O-

Great pics Mel. \O

I prefer quieter beaches, but it does look a nice place to visit & chill out. \O

You certainly look like grilled chicken when you stay in there for too long. =O:

The clocks tick differently there... In summer the beach doesn't go topless, but in winter. 0'

We hardly ever do beach, like in baking in the sun. On hot day I will take a dip and otherwise the
beach is for walking. It certainly is too crowded in places for my own comfort as well. ;-)

Föhr is also a great place to go birding, but exceptional bird sightings are rather far off and so you’re stuck with the usual suspects. Still, they can be worthwhile and entertaining. This time we had our pet blackbird in the backyard. Actually the whole family visited at one point or another. But dad blackbird kept my camera busy the most:

Lurking from under the tree:

Then getting bolder and eying me up and down:

Devouring the water I provided for the family:

And then something really weird happened. Dad blackbird started to lay down on the warm stones and spread his wings as if he was sun tanning:
