Thank you all for the warm welcome! Very impressive Rhino pic PRWIN \O
Two more pics from this beautiful park. The Pin-tailed Whyday did his best to create a great show for the female, unfortunately she wasn't as impressed as I was :O^

Thank you Lowveldboy!!! Nice to meet you here again!

I have lots of more and I think I have to write a TR. This park is very special for us - especially Sontuli Loop!!

Here my best sighting of Black Rhinos there - sorry, they were a little bit far away

One of my favourite parks.

Witnessed this amazing event recently and managed to capture the whole experience as it happened before me.

Thanks for all the replies - This was truly a 'Once in a Lifetime' sighting.

We were driving along the Sontuli loop in the iMfolozi Game Reserve on Sunday 23rd September (12H30) when I spotted 3 Buffalo bulls on the opposite river bank. All of a sudden a lone Lioness appeared out of the reeds -

Image

She was interested in the Buffalo (who had not seen her) and went into stalk mode.

She crossed the river and the chase was on -

Image

All hell then broke loose - One on the Buffalo turned and headed into the water -

Image

The chase continued and she positioned herself for the kill -

Image

I could not believe that this epic scene was unfolding before me - The bleating of the Buffalo bull will stay with me forever...............

More to follow....
