Wildlife at its best

Africa Wild, a conservation organization on the
internet, recently announced the winners of its
2021 photo competition. Richard
Prinsloo of the organization says the competition
is already from the organization's year of existence,
2011, in progress. Members nominate and vote
every year for the best photos. In the category
for the best animal photo, this leopard
near Berg-en-Del Rest Camp in the National
Kruger National Park made its appearance. 'a
German, Patra Totzke, was lucky enough
to capture this moment. The best
bird photo was one of a fur fish catcher at
Intaka Island by Graham Prentice of
Cape Town. A sunrise in the Kgalagadi
Cross Border Park by Michele Ann Nel has
walked away with the award for the best landscape.
In the best travel story photo category was
A herd of elephants the winner. This photo is by
Pete Leyland of Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth)
taken in the Addo Elephant National Park.
Prinsloo says there were about 100 photos in
the competition.
