We cut across by Dukes and down the S28 hoping the car jam by the Lions had thinned out .

By the time we got to the bottom of the S28 it had not only thinned out it had vanished as had the Lions .

We found a Burchels Coucal one of SO favourites

and a White headed vulture

We started heading towrds the gate to leave for home and there was another traffic jam where everyone was looking in Binoculars far away .After spending allot of time trying to find the right angle and place we finally found the excitement .

Very far away Lions

We decided to carry on our way home after a great few days .

Lots of male lions, hey Rog! X#X

I swear those two were still lying there in the road when we came out after our Dimwits trip in July!

Thanks so much for a great report, you were lucky! :ty:
