work at the end of the year has been quite manic 0*\
How annoying when work gets in the way lol

Cute squirrel. I love watching their antics :-0

Those lions were actually quite rude... They didn't turn around for a proper portrait. :X:

And that goshawk better gets its act together lol Or maybe it should at least practise on smaller snakes O**

Such a pleasure seeingyour pics, Peej, and great sightings again!

The hawk with a snake again! But that one is far too big... lol

I think the lions are males, as you can see the testicles!

And I like the approaching wildebeest too. [O]

Thanks everyone for the comments and apologies for the extended delay... back again after the Christmas break X#X

D and I weren't quite ready to call it a morning, so we dropped the girls back at camp and popped out again in the Auob direction. We had a nice sighting of meerkats cooling off by the side of the road before they decided to run off foraging again O:V

Between Monro and Kamfersboom there was a small collection of cars. After heading up onto the ridge earlier in the morning, Kutyhilwa had now dropped down again and was trying to get some rest in the shade of a small tree

Image

We didn't hang around for long as she was difficult to see, but it was good to know she was visible again. At Kamfersboom there was a massive herd of springbok... they were spread out over a large area so the photo doesn't really do it justice

Image

We went up about as far as Batulama before turning and heading back to camp. The only other sighting of note was a nice verreaux's eagle-owl ^Q^

Great sightings

Glad you are back, and I hope you had a wonderful break.

We need some comfort viewing to tide us over the next 13 weeks till we are back in the park

Yeah... not much of a holiday but rather juggling work whilst others are on holiday. Anyway it's time to complete this TR

Same leopard as from the morning, but she wasn't moving in the middle of the day. Later would be better O**

Thanks Gavin! I'm afraid this TR is coming to an end so it probably won't last til your next trip. But 13 weeks will fly by I'm sure ;-)
