Great photos of the cobra. But I'm not their best friend having had one in a unit once :twisted:

Batties O\/ Love them and we didn't get to see many of them on our last trip because they were well able to vanish in the looooong grass.

I'm still a fan of the cobras... although I'm not sure I'd want one too close like inside :shock: :shock:

There was nothing much at Gunong so we turned to head back south towards TR. Our luck with 'different' sightings continued when past Melkvlei some movement caught my eye as a honey badger crossed the road O\/ O\/

Like all badgers this one was constantly busy and on the move, but it was quite a good view as it moved along a hillside O:V

It was starting to get hot, and so herds were moving to find shade

However other animals such as this jackal and gemsbok seemed quite happy to be out and about

We found a secretary bird close to the road and it found a mid-morning snack

And then it turned into a day at the races as some young springbok came shooting past whilst the adults looked on bemused lol
