An elderly couple was involved in a car accident on 07 March 2024, while driving back from Nkuhlu. It was said that the driver fell asleep behind the wheel and drove off the road and collided with a tree. Fortunately, both passengers did not sustain any major injuries.
The car is still at the scene while we wait for the couple’s insurance to tow it out of the park.
We urge all our valued guests to please take extra precautions during the heatwave; take shorter drives if need be, take multiple rests and hydrate as much as possible.
