Was the astronomy guide perhaps Brenden?

Sometimes it’s not until you don’t see what you want to see, that you truly open your eyes.

I don't do guided drives any more, it's far better to spot some nocturnal wildlife from the camps. And I think most guides don't provide any new knowledge to experienced visitors. Rather spend the money to get accommodation with river view or bush view \O

But I had one excellent night drive at Augrabies, long ago \O

Can't remember I'm afraid. It was 2008 and he had fair hair.

We are soooooooooooooooo over sunset and night drives, much rather sit at the camp fence (if lucky to get accommodation next to the fence) and spot whatever you can in your own time and with the people that mean something to you. Sunset and Nights drives are a waste of money (in my opinion) O**

I agree TD...I would much rather sit around the fire than be sitting on a truck with a bunch of strangers, but unfortunately the Brat loves them!! :O^

When your Brat grows up like our Brat did he/she will also feel the same about the drives as we do :O^ :O^

Me tooo - over the nightdrive thing but then I sometimes don't have the self-controll and I give in AGAIN....

Like last weekend O/ 0*\ O/ at Shingwedzi

Lots of nocturnal animal, civet, genet, serval & the cherry 2 porcupines & half asleep lioness on the Mhongolo river loop, far off.

Our Guide was excellent, a special thanks to Chadrack !

If I have to choose, I would go for night drive

If I have to go, I prefer the Sunset Drive because then you still get back to camp early enough to enjoy the fire. ;-)
