Lizard Identification

Post by Toko »

This is the place to ask for identification. Please post your pictures here and add location of the sighting.

Interesting photos of identified species will be added to the relevant Africa Wild Lizard Book here on our forum. Usually new entries or additional photos don't show as new posts, but are filed according to taxonomic order (and not according to date of the forum post).
If you don't want your photos to be included to the AW database, please add a comment to your post here.

It's a tree agama, Gloster! \O

Southern Tree Agama, Black-necked Agama or Blue-throated Agama [Acanthocercus atricollis]

They have all sorts of colour patterns, confusing, really! lol

Hello,
could anyone please help me identify these Agamas, seen around Fish River Canyon and Keetmanshoop (Namibia). Are they Ground Agama or Rock Agama ?
