Changing lifestyles from computers to Cheetahs

Post by Penga Ndlovu »

As a lot of you already know I have quite my job 2 days ago as a Technical Helpdesk Agent for a major corporation and started yesterday as a Volunteer Coordinator at a Cheetah Breeding facility.

I came upon this job by chance and was accepted right away because of my broad expertise in various fields.

O/\ O/\ O/\ O/\

I was really over the moon when I heard that 3 weeks ago and then the long wait started. 0*\ 0*\
Those 3 weeks were the proverbial pain in the @ss. O/ O/

But eventually it ended and I packed my suitcase and headed off the next morning to fulfill my dream. O\/ O\/ O\/

I got there after having ventured myself through the Jo'burg morning travel and put my stuff in my own little Rondawel

After unpacking I ventured about the property, the owners were out doing what they had to do, and took in the sights and sounds of the place.
I immediately found my spot for my sun-downers overlooking this

After lunch the owners came back and the volunteers were introduced to me and I went about with the first chore of the day.
It was also my last chore of the day. =O: =O: =O:

Getting acquainted with Jade. The baby of the group placed under my care.

Jade is about 14 months now

She really is a beautiful cat with a great temperament.

And after having seen the sun off with a Klippies and Coke in hand I decided to call it a day and take a shower and head off for bed.

You lucky, lucky blighter. I'm greener than a green thing on greenday in Greenland. =O:

Have a great time in your new job. Looking forward to seeing more of Jade and the other animals there.

I just hope that you can cope with this new lifestyle. Let me know if you are struggling and I'll swap with you immediately. -O
