Bumped into to rangers casually strolling from the veldt.
Got tied -up in converse about rhino horn,and in no uncertain
way did this dude explain why many "officials" are involved!!

The conversation was based on lack of re-muneration, ........
at the most critical time of conservation ethics!

It is not a valid excuse for poaching, but I am convinced that if they were paid properly there would be more attention and less "who cares" at the gates, in the camps, at reception and in the field.
