Miera certainly wasn't showing when we were there. 0=
Well, there is always a next time. -O

We too were stunned by the amount of kudus we saw this time around.
Usually you would be lucky to see them on one or two occasions over
the course of a two week stay. This time we had some almost every day.
I like them a lot as well - really pretty antelopes. \O

Squirrels are the nightmare of Eric, from Urikaruus -O
They are so playful, he always has go after them to recover stolen property 0'
That day, it is a plastic bottle...

I had the chance to see a mating pair of Ostriches, in the road O/\
she enjoying poking in the sand on the side of the road -O

Black-backed Jackal

I didn't realize right away that this was Jackal "prisoner" and he wanted to jump ... I turn to take ... splatsh :shock: ... too late, it jumped in the water... wet, very wet it fled at full speed =O:

At Kannaguas the waterhole is still under construction -O-
... almost at the same point that in January 0*\
... and a hyena was excited to try the tubes and tires of the truck left behind =O: =O: =O:

I had the chance to see two Caracals, the first, at night, during sunset drive at Twee Rivieren O/\
... especially the back -O
