Every evening/night I did a fire, except at Nossob, (the second stay) the braai was not in order to do
Often evening -O I don't like the night... and more... I'm alone... so generally all was ready before the night
beef/porc kebab + tomatoes
Chicken breast - fried potato (tinfoil)
Lamb chops - green beans
Sausages (ebenwoers) - potato salad
Beef - Eggplant
Tomatoes + eggplant (ratatouille)
Pork chop tomatoes on the grill
Beef Rib - beetroot salad
Steak in the pan (the braai was... )
Marinated beef fillet - potatoes
Chicken - gratinated potatoes

with my Swiss army knife

The small camps are really a "plus" for these observations and as well waterholes
Red-headed Finch/Amandine à tête rouge
Violet-eared Waxbil/Cordonbleu grenadine
Kalahari Scrub-robin/Agrobate du Kalahari
Crow/Corneille (I think Cape Crow)
these one was speaking... we had long talking between us -O
and drank too in my bathtube

What a wonderful collection of birdies, nan!
For some reason I really like the crow on the braai...
I really need to set up a bird bath as well next time at Uri.
Funnily enough, I always do it at GK, but have never done it
at Uri. Wonder what I have been missing because of that.

mel, I put a bird bath in all the camps, the small camps
have a look at this one at KTC :
almost all the bottles of water was recycled... and finished their life like that
all was damaged, most of them at the bottom :?
even bees come to drink
