Just because I will be going away may I start a new thread here to keep fellow mites up to date on where else we go for holidays - surely you do not spend every holiday in a game reserve.

Maybe we can give each other tips on how we travel, fares, what to take etc etc etc.....

There is a mite that recently went on a cruise whose photo appears under bird photo of the month - please tell us more about your holiday with other pics.

Hey, maybe start a Travel Tales - non game reserve???????? This might be stretching it a bit.

Joan and I are off to the UK tonight to spend almost a month with our son, daughter in law and grandson ( whom we are going to meet for the first time) who was born end of January. They reside in Croyden London. Any mites in the area that we could try and hook up with?


We are flying Virgin Atlantic because we find them very friendly and accomodating, also the best fare at the time of booking.

Next time I put something on SAGR it will be from London.

I do 3 x 7/8 day KNP trips, 2 x 3 day Imfolozi trips, about 5 x dam camping trips, 1 x Vaal dam trip to see my brother and ............will come back to you on the rest, but they are all on the beach

The only time I have left this country is to do fishing trips in Mozambique and driving through Swaziland to KNP
