Solo trip to Kruger *

Day 1- 12 May:

I arrived at Malelaan gate and after checking in at the gate I could feel myself starting to calm and relax , first sightings was as always Impala but next up...

Lucky you! I assume the vulture was the one that's not been seen in the Park for nearly 20 years. In my book, that makes it rarer than a Pangolin!

With this photo I need some help please, this Rhino was far in the road and when it saw me it started going for the bush so I had to snap quick and through the front window.....now what I want to know, is this maybe a Blackie.....

So what this means is......my first Rhino was a Blackie YES

it's an Emerald-spotted (Greenspottd) Wood-Dove
but... I don't know why the head is blueish

again, nice scenaries, with water... some nice places for picnic
