Day 11, Thursday June 13, Twee Rivieren. Morning drive continued....
A juvenile Martial Eagle who seemed to be having balance problems


Some Brindled Gnu portraits.


Distant Suricates who were too cold to do anything but stand in the sun.

Whitebacked Vulture.


A Lanner Falcon in the road.

Just before the picnic spot there's a salt-lick which was being visited by an Oryx.

There were plenty of Springboks in the area

Some were getting frisky



And these two were kicking up a dust storm



And then, (insert suitable expletive here), my SD card was full
and by the time I managed to load a new one they'd settled their differences.
Here's the alpha ram looking pleased with himself
