Below is a list of bush camps in KNP. Many haven’t had the privilege of staying in these camps, but I have been fortunate enough to visit 3 of them and stay in 2, Biyamiti (7 or 8 times) and Talamati (3 times)
My personal all time favourite camp across the board in KNP is Biyamiti due to the peace, gaming viewing (winter only) and camp layout.
Please have your say with reasons
Bateleur
Biyamiti
Shimuwini
Sirheni
Talamati

That's impossible -O
I like them all.
Sirheni is very close to Babalala, you can stay there in the morning or in the evening and watch ellies and roan
Talamati is also great with a rewarding nightlife

and the chalets are better there -O and it's Sable area
So I'll go for Talamati -O

I've stayed in 3 of them. Talamati, Sirheni & Bateleur.
Tough decision between Bateleur and Sirheni, but Sirheni gets my vote - just.

Because I liked it the best of the three. No other reason Tok's. -O

I have stayed in all of them but still a tough one Bushcraft.
Bateleur - only 7 units and the magical Red Rocks Road and Rooibosrand Dam. Great for birds in camp
Sirheni - Roan and Tsessebe and have had some great tusker sightings and als leopard and lions. Great for birds in camp
Shimiwini - great setting on the Letaba River and have had great leopard and wild dog sightings on H14 road to Phalaborwa.
Talamati - On one stay we had the big 5 and hyena come to the waterhole during our 3 day stay. Sable in the area.
Biyamiti - Game rich area. Have had lions in the waterbed across the fence on 3 occasions. Leopard just outside the camp twice. Easy acces to all good game roads and 18 km of private road.
Like them all but voted for Biyamiti

I've only stayed in Talamati, so can't vote on that alone...we did enjoy it though.

I think, the bush camps are great and much better then the "normal" camps, but they are also much more expensive and when booking I always ask my self, if it is worthwile spending more money

Interesting topic this, and I've now finally stayed in all except Shimuwini!
Sharifa sums it up perfectly.
The one that is very different is Talamati, with its own big waterhole and hide that concentrates the game tremendously during the dry season, so that gets my lazy vote.
(Bateleur also has a a little waterhole, but small-scale. It is the only one with aircon in camp, though!
