Our rarest sighting was a Cape Clawless Otter at the Lower Sabie low level bridge in March 2010. Although the location is apparently not rare for them, it was the first time I had ever seen one in Kruger.

I saw a CCO on the S1, just past Nyamundwa dam in a little stream...
My kiekies aren't as good as your Flutts-but still proof that the sighting did take place...

Heksie, you don't understand. I even avoid the north during holidays. Out of holidays I generally stick to the low maintenance roads, then still get upset if I see another car.
I don't get that many sightings, but at least I am on my own when I do get one.
