Good day. I'm new to this forum and not too sure if I'm posting my question in the correct place?
I have a Common River Frog that seems to like living underneath a water feature pond on our veranda, although he certainly knows how to get in - which is up and inside the roof of the water feature - I'm not too sure if he can get out again. I keep lifting the water feature to get him out, only to find he either climbs straight back in or is back there again a day or two later!
My question is: If I left him there would he die? (as insects don't get in underneath, besides ants). He also turns a very dark almost black colour, which I suspect is because he's underneath the feature.
Would/could anyone answer this question?
Kind regards
