It's not THEIR structure, and I doubt if they pay rent in the sense that a normal business would have to, regarding the owner?

Anyone can walk into any restaurant, well at least the ones I visit in SA, which at the top end is the SpurFlutterby wrote:BC, were you not allowed access at all....just to go and stand at the railing?
My mate pulled in with his clan and sat down, thereby occupying a table and chairs which paying guests could have occupied, hence understandably wasn’t popular.
The bottom line is that Mugg and Bean shouldn’t have been given the entire deck space.

This is actually embarrassing...I always think of foreign visitors!
A sign saying "customers only"? Is it that difficult?

It never was a restricted area, why now?Richprins wrote:A sign saying "customers only"? Is it that difficult?
Sometimes it’s not until you don’t see what you want to see, that you truly open your eyes.
Re: Restaurants and Tea Rooms in Kruger Park
Flutts, ask Lesego if it’s open to all, why is there an entrance and ask if one is freely permitted to pull up a chair within the Mugg & Bean space to admire the view for as long as they like without orderingFlutterby wrote:Ja, on FB there have been mixed responses. Some say they were turned away if they were not eating there, and others say they sat down and didn't have to order anything.Confusions reigns as usual!!

Re: Restaurants and Tea Rooms in Kruger Park
IMO it is not all wrong that the space is limited to guests of the restaurant. I am sure that in the rent they pay the deck with view is included.
If you have a reservation at Lower Sabie, it might be included, I don't know. Being objective I can't see what is wrong in excluding the persons who do not bring you an income

But the guests are bringing an income to SANParks, conservation fees, purchases at shops? Overnighters from other camps?
