So, we would like to announce the launch of the Africa Wild Pic of the Day!!
But, here comes the fun part...each month we would like a different member to run this thread. 
This is how it will work:
- We would like members to volunteer to run this thread. Once we have some volunteers we will post a list and off we go. Please send me a PM if you would like to volunteer.
- Members will submit their photographs via PM to the person running the thread for that month.
- That person will then have sole discretion as to which pic to post daily.
- Any pics not used during that month will then get sent to the next person running the thread.
What pics can you submit?
- Apart from wanting to see pics of Africa and all its beauty, we would also like to see the wild side from some other corners of the world, but these will be limited to 5 a month.
- Your pics do not have to be new.
- You can submit as many pics as you like.
- Pics must all be a standard size - 800px on the longest side.
- Colour, monochrome and HDR pics are all acceptable, although we would request that the person who is running the thread tries to keep a balance between the three.
- Pics with signatures are fine but, if possible, we would prefer to have pics without watermarks that cover the whole pic.
- When submitting your pic please add a title and a little story behind the pic. If you want to add the technical data I'm sure it will be appreciated by other members.
- We would like to share these photographs on the Africa Wild Facebook page daily. If, however, you object to having your photograph shown on FB, please can you send me a PM.
This thread is open to all our members, including Admin, Mods and Committee members.
To get things going and to see how this is all going to work, you can start sending your pics to me and I will run the thread for the rest of this month!
