This is a Bulbine, not an Aloe.
I would need to see a clear photo of the plant itself before I could identify it with certainty.
There are a few species that look similar.

Here are some to keep somebody busy for a while.
These were all taken at Mpenjati on the South Coast, and the flowers are very small - no bigger than a 20c piece.

Off the top of my head.....
No 1 - not sure
No 2 - Indigofera possibly velutina
No 3 - Aneilama
No 4 - Streptocarpus Possibly gardenii
No 5 - not sure

Dzombo, thanks for your ID's....gives me an inkling of where to look...I know nothing about wildflowers! :oops:
With regards to No. 2...Indigofera spicata looks more like mine than the velutina...what do you think?
