I think there are studies that have run their course, nana, but without experienced mentors, and hard scientific data. Not the students'/new generation scientists fault, but experience kicked out a decade or more ago during restructuring? Still lots of experience and professionalism in Kruger, but dictated by managers, IMO?

I assume the exposed reinforcing steel will rust and will be bad for animals

Maybe the remains look ugly or something...and the broken dams do hold some ghastly water slightly longer than a virgin stream would...
(one can't really see the dam wall from the camp...)

How big is what is left of the dam? Is dynamite really necessary
What about Alf going with a hammer and a punch (or whatever it is called)
