10.10.2013 - continued
Today it was very hot again – 41 degrees. We had a nap again, took a shower and started our packing. At 4 pm we went for another drive to Marie se draai. At Rooikop we saw two black-headed herons

among the lions we spotted an unusual visitor to KTP – a sanderling

I am glad that you like the lions as there are some more to come.
We were really surprised to see the sanderling.

when the lions decided to rest under a tree we went on. We saw some pronking springboks and a lone jackal. We turned around and when we arrived at the waterhole the whole pride had appeared
