Toko, that pencil plant you IDed - would it be the same that you can buy here as an exotic plant?
Perhaps, Mel, there are several similar looking ones in the genus, don't even know the German name ;-) but love them ^Q^

Nice accomodation, but looks a bit dark inside or is it only the light in the photos?

Lovely view and flowers and all the familiar chats are lovely ^Q^ ^Q^ ;-)
It was a bit dark, Lis, but we stayed outside most of the time anyway. :-0

there is no electricity in the cottages and lanterns are provided – very cozy

the gecko liked them as well as the light attracted the moths

We actually did not see many mammls as we stayed on the main roads. There was a lonely springbok and an AWC visited us after dark.

Although this was a short stay, we really enjoyed it.

Just beautiful, Tina O/\ O/\ O/\ O/\

A white hairy Dewflower Drosanthemum eburneum and a lilac Drumsticks Zaluzianskya villosa, closed flowers resemble drumsticks, hence the name ‘drumsticks'.
