there is no electricity in the cottages and lanterns are provided – very cozy

the gecko liked them as well as the light attracted the moths

We actually did not see many mammls as we stayed on the main roads. There was a lonely springbok and an AWC visited us after dark.
Although this was a short stay, we really enjoyed it.

A white hairy Dewflower Drosanthemum eburneum and a lilac Drumsticks Zaluzianskya villosa, closed flowers resemble drumsticks, hence the name ‘drumsticks'.
