We are bush people, bit worried about containing my 3 kids in leopard area :O^

Anyway, compared to other camps, does the bush tents have basic cutlery etc?
No Bring your own Cutlery etc >> How old are the Kids >> best over 10 but then all Camps have leopards and no Kids have ever been harmed at Tamboti. All you have to do is NOT report a sighting IF you are lucky enough to see one >> I have seen 2 since the camp started. If you do report it that leopard will be shot = official policy >> Human lives Rule supreme no matter that its the Leopards home and we are visitors
Peter  You've seen 2 in camp! Wow do tell ...sorry if you have already shared this story
I'm intrigued !
Yes I have a pic of one taken with a 24-70 when I was on Foot behind the OLD Boma and I will post one I took just outside the Gate Like 2 metres from it >> his spoor was all over the otherside of the Grid on the inside of the camp after Ihe left after I took his Mug Shot at the unattended Gate >> so guess where he had come from!!.. They just walk in the Gate its a Leopard PRIME area. Sadly I witnessed a Killing of a Leopard too as some ignoramus who should not stay at camps like Tamboti went and reported that a cat was in camp and they notified the local Section Ranger who told me that its policy. So Rule No one just enjoy the privalege of Leopards in Camp probably on a daily basis so it was no big deal that I have seen 2 there as I have seen one at 11 am in Large Mopani camp sniffing behind a hut and watched a leopard jump into Lower Sabie over the electrified Grid at 3pm while the Gate guard dozed

Taken 2 metres outside Tamboti Gate.. I always sweep before gate opening at the inside gate as I am usually the only one waiting to go out from Tamboti and have no one to chat to so being ADD HD i need to be busy :-0 both sides inside the fence for 10 metres on the perimeter path and then go out. There were Male prints along the left hand path as you come in when I returned at 10am and just after I had taken this guys pic 2 metres outside the gate >> join the Dots as he was a young large Male Info for Twigga. All camps will have Leopard in camp>> Berg en Dal is a Leopard Magnet camp so be like Botswana and take down all Fences (They are a FALSE SENSE of SECURITY Deluxe)ah well maybe keep Skukuza Metropole fenced
