Brownhooded Kingfisher

Image

This little one was hopping all over the road with a mate, and pecking in the sand. Any ideas?

Image

Cute little steenbokkie.

Yellowbilled Hornbill

Image

A very nice sighting of Red Hartebeest right next to the road. They always look so surprised. -O

With junior in tow. :D

Image

We stopped at the Pilanesberg Centre to stretch our legs. Such a pity that it's just been left empty...it could be a goldmine for them!! -O- But there were plenty of birds to keep me happy. Image

Another LBJ! -O-

Image

Looks like a Common Sparrow...am I right? :-?
