I was just reading that the Tit-babbler is quite shy and is not often seen in the open...so very lucky I think!!

The three birds/pics you are struggling on all look like Rattling Cisticolas.

You are correct with all the others you queried.

Beautifull bird photo's flutterby , did you use your new 500mm lens

harrys...yes I used my new lens ...still need a lot of practice though!

Lis...I'm sure cisticolas were put on this earth just to confuse us!!

We were never suppose to be so stupid as to try and see the difference from one to another Blame it on Dewi and his fellow mad birders

We left the Centre and headed for Mankwe Dam where we parked for a while enjoying all the activity. There were lots of Spurwinged Geese, Egyptian Geese, Egrets and Wildebeest.

These two were sorting out who was the boss.











We battled to identify these blobs until one stuck his head up...Southern Pochard.
