Although I'm not sure the Short-clawed Lark is found in the Pilanesberg.

How nice to be able to do such a trip once in a while
Good sightings too, considering you only had a certain amount of time in the park.

We were very happy with that sighting....and amazing that we were the only car there considering we were so close the the gate!

That includes the 4 hour driving time to get there and back.

We are lucky that we can do day trips there, but it is still a long way just for one day.

We then headed to the Pilanesberg Centre for a late breakfast where there were a few wildebeest....
