The Olifants river is one of my favourite in the park. Great pics with the wildlife in them.

The Eagle with the Zebra at the waterhole is an African Hawk Eagle. Hope it's a new one for you?

Just a pitty it was so far we had some sports at this sighting when 2 guys almost sorted each other out because one in his Jeep could not wait his turn and pushed infront of this other guy we even had people out of their cars and they where photographed and reported by one of the tour operators

The Olifants looked good when we where there and lots of water around too

Baboons rarely get caught in snares...we are too sharp...strange that 3 legged one?

Hippo lie in the sun sometimes...don't know why, and secrete a pink "suntan lotion"...

Also wonder if it's light pigmentation or if it's an albino vervet. It does seem to have more hair than it's normal cousins?
In any case it was a very special sighting.

That was our Maroela trip done and dusted, we saw some new animals and some interesting ones but we had a great time and I enjoyed every moment with my daughter

Now we have to wait only 313 days for our next trip
