Full Kruger Alphabets by Greenies
Posted: Tue Sep 09, 2014 6:24 pm
Rules of the game:
We try to compile the alphabet with Kruger sightings (post a photo and a common name in English or Afrikaans or the scientific name).
Allowed are animals (not only mammals) and plants spottted in the KNP by a forum member.
One greenie can post one species, then another greenie must post the next one, etc. You are not allowed to post in row, but you can post several times for one alphabet.
It is allowed to borrow photos/sightings by other greenies already posted on our forum (give credit!) if you can not find an own sighting for the relevant letter.
Species must have full names: A Black-backed Jackal is for B, but not for J; or you name it Canis mesomelas for C; or it's a Rooijakkals for R.
It's not allowed to use one species several times for different letters.
The challenge is to compile together as many different alphabets as possible, id est: If we had an Arrow-marked Babbler for A for our first alphabet, we must find another species for A then for the second alphabet we do.
