Thx everybody...yes nan the owls made us work for that sighting....lovely photos. The news at the moment is that mommy owl has finally been seen in the nest( this past week) I hope we get some chicks soon. :) Love your photo Lisbeth - it really does sum up Kirstenbosch...hmm looks like I am going to have to brush up on my plant names ( but there are those little white signs next to the plants which make it easy O** )

Oops meant to say that I am glad you like the flower photographed from underneath Lisbeth - I had to lie flat on my back in the pathway to get that shot .... :-)

Ox-eye daisies are truly lovely flowers and deserve every effort - I remember when I saw them first near Clanwilliam, I was overwelmed O:V

Unfortunately we were there in the middle of summer, which is not the best moment for flowers, but it was beautiful all the same \O
