This is how it works:
Members PM myself with real details and email, including cellphone number.
I confirm your credentials, and invite an email containing food and alcohol orders, which we pass on to Spar with the contact details. After that you communicate with Spar yourself, and just pitch up and get your stuff and pay.
It works a charm. The staff are very friendly indeed, and it's your last stop for fresh bread, meat and milk etc.
Everything is pre-packed or frozen, according to your preference.
The discount does not apply to alcohol.

It is a good sytem, Dzombo. They have very good food and meat...one emails order and they prepack groceries, fresh salads etc. and pr-freeze meat. You just pick it up with fresh bread and so on. Pay and go.
Not sure if they'll give discount now still. Not many customers, but let's see.

Not too fussed about the discount. Though it would be nice, it's mainly the convenience of a pick up order.
For our trip to SA in November we are coming for a family wedding.
And then leave for Kruger the Monday after.
Usually I would go to pick and pay in Jhb. But this time with the wedding etc, not sure if there will be fridge room with the family we are staying with. They are hosting meals.
So it would possibly make things easier if we could just pick up an order in Melalane.
I need to discuss with the Mrs and see what she thinks and I can then send you a list.
But my main concern at this stage is if I can pick the order up.

We have internet and everything here in the Lowveld, Dzombs!
You can do it easily...even ordering months before. The SPAR is also right next to the highway, so shouldn't take more than 20 minutes for the pickup.
