Very similar to SA beaches, stf, but much cleaner? Even the fish the same...a grunter! \O

Hi nan. We braai anytime of the year. ;-)

So true R.P. - the same type of fish but even looks cleaner than those caught here.

Mel, Joan went for one swim and I did not. At a water temp of 20 that is far too cold for me. It was so tempting but as soon as I but my toe in I reversed out at a speed.

The beaches were so great that I just kept on taking photos as I could not believe what I was seeing.

Beaches continued.

Our last day at Mooloolaba Beach.

Took this photo to try and show just how clear the sea water is.

Me relaxing in the shade while Joan has a swim.

My photo of Mooloolaba Beach.

Image

Just look how calm the water is which disappointed Joan as she likes rough waves.

Final photo of Joan on the rocks as we were to fly to Sydney the next day.

Final photo of Mooloolaba Beach taken from the plane on the way to Sydney. A very sad moment after the most amazing holiday with our children and grand daughter.

Coming up next - A tail of a whale.

A Tail of a Whale.

Neill and Liza sent us on a whale watching trip.

Image

Double the delight.

Image

Image

This one was very curious to see who we were and came cruising by very close to the boat.

Image

Once satisfied took to the depths with a flick of the tail.

Image

Then another one on the other side of the boat.

Image

A smile of satisfaction after a successful whale watching trip without getting seasick.

Image

Coming up next - Road Signs seen.

Looks rather nice. At least the visible part of the beach surroundings is not built in like other seaside resorts \O
