Unashamedly my favorite animal ..the African Lion

This particular morning this lioness walked in all the right places and as a result she gave me the Best light I could wish for in soft dappled shadows ..What a beaut she was ..in her prime , athletic and unblemished ...I never saw her again ..Thanks for the memories and hopefully we will catch up again during my shortish stay of 11 days at Rooiputs in April 2019

The same lioness as above eventually found a piece of plant material to play with and carried it for many minutes and was joined by a 2nd lioness and they rough played for their 'trophy' all over the place ..Got some awesome shots of this interaction..Click on image for true colours

LOL yes balmy she was ..I think she wanted me to get out and play tug o war with that stick ..I wasnt feeling like it that morning
