30 mins before sunrise 2 lionesses play NEAR our campsite IN camp still very dark...I had my morning game Drive from my Trailer ..Cheap use of Diesel that morning..I stayed in as I needed to recharge our Fridge/freezer deep cycle battery and didn't want to leave the outside battery cables and daily put out solar panels unattended

Our campsite the morning before sunrise when the lionesses came in to pay their respects..Solar Panels were already out when we picked them up approaching up the dune valley

If you look at the campsite pic above you will see the road in front of Jane which goes to campsite 4 of 6 ...300metres to the left of the pic. Well I was having my coffee at the tent when almighty roars came from camp 1 ...600 metres to the right of the pic (This was another morning) It was pitch dark and I 10 mins later went out in the brightening gloom into the road and scanned with the Swaro Binos which brighten up scenes remarkably and the folk were up and about in Camp 1 and the spoor at my feet told me that a HUGE Male lion had walked past my skimpy bedroom about an hour earlier and it must have been him making the noise 10 mins later. I found him 2kms up the road towards Kij Kij ..What a BEAUT
