Just an aside, the carcass beetles are also very common (in my experience) at Kieliekrankie. They are attracted to the lights at night and form "stacks" as they line up on one another's backs.

Some pictures that I believe is the same wasp as BluTuna posted here

Taken in Singida Region of Tanzania, just north of Singida Town, January 21 2016 in a sack garden

the yellow bug in the spiderweb to the right appeared to be their main prey, they were always bringing them to the holes, except sometimes they seemed to be a bit cumbersome to carry for example, this one got dropped in a spiderweb and the wasp couldn't get it back out.
