(something very, VERY AWESOME.)
bakgatla?? was it the resident family of white tailed mongoose

No Joe. Not white tailed Mongoose. There was a dolly bird in a white Bikini at the pool though. Does that count?

You'll have to wait for the big reveal just like everyone else. There are many Nogas to go yet before we get to dis-ting dat we saw. We are only at the beginning. How can we just jump to the end?

PN< they can drool just where they like dude, just as long as it's not on my keyboard.

JN, it sounds like you are planning to photshop something there. Just get some pics up so we can distract these loonies.

caracal.
get on with the stories guys..........

I saw a caracal there once. A long time ago, but I did see one. In fact, I saw him twice on the same day. First in the Am and then a split second later when I had finished rubbing my eyes and pinching myself to make sure my meds had kicked on and I was not hallucinating. Then I saw him again later in the afternoon on the way back to camp. Oh, that makes three times. But only two count. -O

Just too bad for you Fluts.
I first need to sift through hundreds of photos, clean, crop and beautify them and then I will be ready to post.

Count on a minimum of 3 days.

Standing between dis-ting and dat ting, is a breakfast, a braai and at least three nogas.

So pour yourself a martini / noga /cold beer, pop a pro-zac (needed editing in order to be posted) and chill for a while Bill. The story goes as the story goes. When you read the last page in the book before the first chapter is done, it somehow does something to the book. I haven't managed to work out why yet, I just know some junk.

So while the flashers get on with "processing the pics" I'm trying to work out what happened next...

It may even be worth the wait. //\0--

Some things we did see......

Lotsa pink elephants around the third Noga. No white tailed mongoose. Just a goose in a white bikini. We did see a one legged Speckled pigeon. Some Punjab Parakeets (plenty of those), a crested barbet and several other things.

Only after breakfast though! 'K?

You! Me, anyone reading this. Every-one and no-one.

I am loony enough to be writing this so I guess anyone reading it might be even more crazy than I am.

Thanks for that explanation.

So were you the goose in the white bikini then?

I tell you one thing for sure though, those Noga tings kept us happy for more than just an hour. (ok, I speak only for myself on this one.)

Reason I agreed to be so close to the pool was to go skinny dipping late at night. (Sign said "no swimming after 10pm" though.)

Other than the fact that the ground we seemed to be camped on was very unstable.

Uhhhhh.

I beg your pardon here.

Have I been sleeping during that time as I recall that I was the first that was up and awake both mornings?

If you and your friend went for a skinnydip early in the morning I would have made sure the whole camp was awake.

I'm not sure if I mentioned it before but there were one or two scientific discoveries during the weekend. One of them is that Noga's are of such a chemical composition that they make the very ground unstable. Standing was difficult enough, and walking on such unstable ground near impossible.

In the interest of sticking to the rules, I never got to having my late night dip.

@Flutts; Yeah, yeah, breakfast was hours ago. Is that why I'm so hungry. It might have been hours ago, but you can't rush dis-ting. It was fantabulous and you will get to read about it in the correct sequence of events.

In the interim, keep the kit on...
