Me and friend had our happy hour differently than you did and with different attire.....
went for a swim in the early morning hours - and had to make our way back in a rush. -O -O

If anything is unclear... you must ask and I will explain..... //\0--

Uhhhhh.

I beg your pardon here.

Have I been sleeping during that time as I recall that I was the first that was up and awake both mornings?

If you and your friend went for a skinnydip early in the morning I would have made sure the whole camp was awake.

Skinning dipping...  at our age 0- -
we wear long legged costumes with little skirt like additions and tops buttoned to the throat and the wrists...

PN - your internal clock only woke you by 5 - and that after some 5 hours sleep.....??????

By then we were up and about in our tents, (it doesn't take 5 hours to have a refreshing swim)

I even heard the Lion roar while you were snorring.... (oops... JN was awake, but still zipped - we were safe)

It is for this reason that we looked fresh as daisies each morning.... wI

You went swimming in Nun's kit??? No wonder you tried to sneak a swim while everyone else was asleep.

Hmm, those tents were so small that it would not have been possible to have been up and about in them. In fact, they were so small you'd have trouble changing you mind in them.

Err, I think it was one and the same thing. Or maybe it was me snoring.

I don't even want to go there......

yeah yeah...that ting makes the whole trip just amazzzzzzzing...

by breakfast on saturday the sun has already showed me who is boss...
and this morning i have all the signs of being in the open for the weekend.

it was awesome to enjoy a weekend with the pink ribbon peeps...all were chilled and enjoyed every moment as it presented itself.

JN was on the boll with his coffee making expertise
and
BH kan vir jou kosmaak hoor..
PN se tent opslaan vermoe het my verbaas, he was really sooooooooo gud at it!!

van die NOGA se ek eerder niks...jelly bene en verlore memory slots.

After our visit to KNP in August, this was my first trip to Pilansberg toooooooooo.

i have seen a lot of birds i never knew excited and now BH new bird book will come in very handy.
vir my 'n bok was net 'n flippen bok ~ 7 net verskillende bokke.

Nou prat ek eerder nie van die "birding" thing nie.
How on earth do you see a bird meters away and tell what it is....but i guess i will get there.
At least i recognise the elephants, zebra, giraffe and of course i could tell that that bird was an ostrich!!

kom nou maatjies moet nie die arme mense soooo laat ly nie!!

Translated, the last sentence instructs us not to let the poor readers suffer too much.

All I can say to that one is dis:

If you don't eat yer meat, y'll not have any pudding.
How can you eat yer pudding, if ya don't eat yer meat?

And we haven't even got to the entre yet!

First the soup, then the entre, then the main course and THEN the pudding. All after breakfast. mid morning tea, lunch, mid afternoon tea, and then dinner.
