Sometimes using a prime lens I battle to fit all the bits in where a zoom makes this easy but then no zoom on planet earth can get the sharpness of a prime :D

I loved this pic of a magnificent Kudu Bull taken near Bobbejaankrans H7 as the sun was rising on the horizon. Perfect Light taken with a 70-200 f2.8 VRII lens and manual exposure and Auto ISO..handheld across the car through the passenger window...a quiet 'Tisk ...tisk' and all his senses were working nostrils flaring, neck muscles straining, for that portrait shot which was loud in the quiet predawn ina switched off car waiting for his arrival

Within sight of Babalala Picnic Spot on the S56...A huge herd of Buff...Here a curious Bull comes to investigate...I love parking off ina big herd and just listening to their cattle like sounds and watch the Oxpeckers and Drongos
