I have had a cheetah kill on the H4-1, but it's the only sighting that we have had there over many years and also on the S36, but 8 cheetah in 3 trips on the H10 (actually 4 drives of the H10 in 3 trips), so for us it cooks for cheetah.

Our LO's favourite animal, but not much luck in recent years.

Gudzane Dam S41 / S100 gravel road.

Thihongonyeni on the Capricorn Loop and Mooiplaas Waterhole. (Ask Nan).

Kwaggaspan on the H3.

One REALLY can see them anywhere...the biggest group ever seen in the park was a group of 7 or more near Pafuri border post, of all places!

The Pretoriuskop -Crocodile Bridge-Skukuza triangle is your best bet, if that makes sense?

We've had the most spec-ta-cu-lar sighting of three cheetahs every day of the week (bar one day) during our January 2012 Trip.

On our arrival, I was as sick as a dog and opted to stay in bed. Theuns and the LO took a late afternoon drive, and saw them. I was crying for missing out on the action. Well, Lady Luck was on my side. First morning in Kruger National Park, we saw them hunting.

From the first loop to the right on the Skukz to LS road to the Skukz Day Visitor Centre (LO on a sunset drive) to our second last day - entertaining visitors at the T-junction to LS close to Skukz.

Apologies in advance for posting too many photos. But these were all purrrr-ific sightings and I was grateful that I could let Odie know so as to inform possible other followers of his thread. (Thanks again, Odie!) And of course, cheetah being the LO's most favourite animals... need I say more?

Please inform these cheetahs we'll be in KNP from the 17th to 21st March and we would love to meet them at the intersection seeing that they read so well
