@Richprins-
Do you want the details? I am sure you do
Over the last 4/5/6 years, hubby and I have started to go away over Christmas for two reasons: Our families are far away (Christmas without family is not Christmas for the northern pagans

) and the weather at home is cold. It started with three weeks, then we went to South Africa and three weeks were not enough anymore....it was still darn cold when we came back. Little by little it has become more and this year we have arrived at three months. Normally we go to places where the weather is hot, but due to Fa's ordeal and many operations this last year, I was afraid to leave Europe and go too far away. So what to do

Find the warmest place within Europe and that's what we have done!
Other questions?

Santa Luzia....A few Km. to the west of Tavira
We parked the car next to the canal and crossed it to reach the long wet land island that separate the canal from the sea.
