Punda Maria Gate day visitors picnic site is usually quiet and small, there is a little kiosk and a small environmental education centre with information boards. It is about 5km from Punda Maria rest camp, just at the park gate.

Looks too busy for me being the north

Busy for about 10 mins only when the kids left the education room where they had a presentation

I seem to recall such a site not so long ago,...
however this one received a major upgrade,

or maybe rather, a major maintenance service!!

Prinsadam saw a mother leopard and youngster about 3km from the gate early this morning!
