Next visit - 24 April 2015.
Blackwinged Stilts.
Grey Heron.
Sacred Ibis.
Greyheaded Gulls.
A new one for me at Rondebult: Wattled Starling.
Hiding in the reeds, one of three Blackcrowned Night Herons.
More Coots.
And a lifer. A juvenile African Marsh Harrier.

Well done on the Marsh harrier and some cool bird in flight actions, I am impressed, you really manage to get them
Re: Rondebult Bird sanctuary
Thanks again guys!
I'm getting behind with these reports.
Next one was on Midwinter's Day - 21 June.
Not much to see, just some Coots, Gyppos and Gulls.

I had some better luck on 22 August.
A peacock was displaying beautifully, it's a pity there wasn't a better background.
The object of his desires was being suitably awed.
Some black and whites - Pied Avocets and Blackwinged Stilts.

Re: Rondebult Bird sanctuary
A fire had been through the reserve and it was looking a little sorry for itself. The last of the wooden hides has been destroyed.
The Whitethroated Swallows are back and were also getting frisky.
An unlucky frog was brunch for a Greyheaded Gull.
Grey Heron.
And some waders that I haven't identified.
