That's why I go to traffic quiet north for photography as I like to take my time at 'my' sighting setting up and enjoying the changing light etc ..OSV's and I don't mix well and I don't understand this Southern ' etiquette???' ...Doggies ....Orpen area and Redrocks in Summer especially
Great Trip report Roger ...cant wait for our 2 weeks at Tamboti late August this year ...then we are back camping as of next year
Thank you . yes its always something more special to have your own sighting and sometimes (but that's a whole new TR) even to share with one or two others .Somehow the OSV always seem to rub people up the wrong way .I guess its their job to show their guests the sighting and get them the best view but somehow they seem to cause problems or tempers to flare . But they not always the problem many cars and silly people cause problems .I still maintain anyone coming into the park should do a induction course on etiquette and rules by watching a 15 minute video .Then they sign a card to say they have seen the video then they let in .This could be how to drive safely around , behavior around animals ,where to stop ,where to alight , littering ,drinking etc .Next time they show the card and they can go in.If they then caught out a big fine is given no sorry I did not know what I was allowed to do .. We have the same at work when we work in big companies .We do an induction on safety if we do something wrong we warned if we do it again we off the site .
