Eyes shut again Flutts? Whitefaced Ducks are common, even in Kruger - they sound like asthmatic squeaky toys.

And finally, as I was leaving I noticed a ring around the Sun. This is caused by sunlight refracting through ice crystals high in the atmosphere. It happens once or twice a year.
